Modern explosion protection systems rely on fast, reliable pressure detection to identify the onset of an explosion and trigger automatic mitigation measures. Endress+Hauser sensors play a central role in such solutions by enabling rapid detection of early pressure rises.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The challenge:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In many industrial processes, combustible dusts, gases or vapors can form an explosive atmosphere when mixed with oxygen. Once ignited, this atmosphere can lead to an abrupt pressure increase and flame propagation, resulting in significant damage and endangering personnel.<\/p>\n<p>Because explosions can propagate through connected ducts or vessels, a comprehensive and coordinated protection concept is essential.
